HANDLEBARS
Bamboo handlebars (50cm wide – just right for navigating through traffic). Abaca fiber is methodically and repeatedly wrapped around the handlebars, joining together the bamboo poles and alloy stem. After the joint hardens it is hand shaped with files and sanded down smooth. With a few tough coats of paint it’s ready to hit the streets. Strips of transparent no-slip tape can be added for extra grip.
SADDLES
Handwoven seat covers are made out of natural rattan, a very durable and pliable material. They are coated with a water repellant and UV resistant paint. Our saddles have similar cushioning to other saddles, but outperform in terms of comfort and style. Bambike rattan saddles stay cooler that traditional saddles because they allow for air to flow under the rider. And they won’t get too hot in the sun either because of their light natural color and low heat retention. Each of the saddles are unique due to the natural variations in the rattan strips and because they are all handmade.

BamBeach Cruiser – This saddle is custom designed and only available for each of the Ligtasin Cove models.
