Gawad Kalinga Bike Builders

BAMB aims to create as many jobs as possible for the people that need them the most. We are currently setting up a workshop in their village so that they can be provided with full-time employment and earn fair, living wages. They will take on apprentices and train them to build bamboo bicycles as well. Health Care and participation in the Social Security System are some of the benefits that they will receive as a result of this project. We are working towards developing a better way of doing business.
