San Agustin Church (Front)
San Agustin Church is a Roman Catholic church under the order of Saint Augustine, located at General Luna Street, Intramuros. It was named a National Historical Landmark and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Galeria de los Presedentes de la Republica Pilipinas
Gallery of Presidents or Galeria de los Presedentes de la Republica Pilipinas is a garden where the presidents of the Philippines from Emilio Aguinaldo up to Gloria Arroyo is embosed on a plate, standing along a garden.
Japanese Cannons from the Battle of Manila in 1945 are pointing outside the walls, waiting for the right time to fire. This mossy area where these cannons are located gives an aura on how important Intramuros is in the Philippine history.
Puerta Real is a beautiful garden just outside the southern wall of Intramuros. Puerta Real Garden is originary a gate to the walled city but now, it is famous for being an perfect venue for many celebrations such as wedding and cultural dinners.
Puerta del Parian
Puerta del Parian is also a gate to Intramuros, situated on the east side of the walls. This entrance is named after the earliest concentrations of Chinese merchants in the Old Manila, the Parian de Arroceros. It is also the walkway for most students of Lyceum of the Philippines.
Aduana is one the surviving structures from the Hispanic Manila which was still in use today for 30 years. Also called Intendencia, it is now a cultural attraction in Intramuros other than being a Customs House before. Recently, Aduana is being restored after substantial damages had happened to it.
Maeztranza Curtain Wall is a portion of the Intramuros wall that faces the north, just along the Pasig River and near to Fort Santiago. Maeztranza is being restored to be used as a cultural place for many tourists as they plan to build cafes and galleries along the street.
Plaza Roma, also known as Plaza de Roma, is one of the two major public squares in Intramuros. This plaza is famous for being the Intramuros center. It is surrounded by Andres Soriano Avenue to the north, Cabildo Street to the east, Santo Tomas Street to the south, and General Antonio Luna Street to the west.
Fort Santiago is one of the most historical sites in Manila. It is a citadel during the time of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi as part of the formation of the city of Manila. Today, the fort is part of a historical park which includes the Plaza Moriones and other ruins.
